On my blog posts, where the header says SEO Title, SEO Description and SEO key words, it says no title, no description and no key words. Is there something I need to do differe

Hi Stuart, boomer is right you do not need to touch those settings. As long as you are following the training here and incorporating the keywords into your title and first paragraph that is all you need. I never put keywords or titles into those description boxes.

Thank you Wendy

No. You do not need to do anything with this. The All in One SEO plugin does all of this for you automatically.

When you write the title of your page or post at the top of your WordPress editor window, the AIO SEO plugin will automatically use that. Then the AIO will automatically use the first 155-160 characters of your content as your description.

As for the space for keywords you definitely need to leave that blank. Google and the other search engines no longer use keywords in that tag and will view it as possible keyword stuffing should you place keywords in that tag.

Thank you Boomer,
That is very good stuff to know.

You are welcome

This is one thing I never remember to do but really should. Xx

Yup, you need to add the Meta Title and Meta Description into the column. The All In One SEO should allow you to do this at the bottom of each post.

Please help as we often type documents in Microsoft and then want to upload them to a blog. How can we accomplish this.

The easiest way is to copy and paste as PLAIN text, then format how you wish within the WP editor. For images you will need to upload them into your media library and then place them into your pages/posts.

Thank you Wendy

Copy and Paste using right-click Paste as Plain Text. Images will have to be added manually.

Thank you Marion

Copy and paste is the tried and true method. With visuals you might have to copy and paste url's

Thank you Sir,
I will use this method.

Ok, so text will copy and paste however, I am unable to convert photos with it. Is there a way to do this?

No for photos. They must be added manually to Media Library.

For text, copy to Notepad first to clean, then paste to Text mode.

Thank you Mickey,
I will try that now.

One the best ways to eliminate all of the 'garbage' codes embedded into the copy through Microsoft is to copy and paste it first into a text program, such as notepad or other one.

It can then be copy and pasted into wordpress..

Right on, I run it through Google Drive!

There you go!
