I'm Stuck: Creating Authority/Content In A Small Niche?

TL:TR - How do I create more content/authority & uniqueness for my small niche blog. What would you be interested in reading there? (Aside from general reviews of other energy drinks)

So really quick, here's my blog ^ and here's my dilemma. I started this blog off kinda on the wrong foot. I wasn't thinking in terms of large scale authority (or uniqueness to be perfectly honest).
I'd like some advice on how I could add more useful, creative content while keeping the focus along the lines of the product I'm trying to promote. Long story short, what else would you, audience, like to see or be discussed on my blog?

Background Information
-What my blog is about: Energy Drinks, more specifically XS and health.
-What I'd like to Expand On: More useful articles about energy drink safety, health, XS recipes, etc. But that only goes so far. Eventually I'll hit a wall. And there's also the issue of being creative and offering something different from other bloggers and marketers. (And I've come to find that there's quite a few)
-What I Don't Want To Include: I'd rather not take away from XS by blogging too much about other energy drinks (Reviews & Such) It's mainly a blog focused more specifically on health & XS. How would you approach developing long term authority for such a specific-ish niche?

Trawl the internet for media stories, particularly anything to do with celebs. Have any famous people used or endorsed this product? If they have, why? I mean not because they were being paid to or anything like that, but what did they say they got out of it?
How do I incorporate this product into my day? What would be a good diet plan to follow that includes this?
Tell my about the manufacturer, why did they make them? Did they see a gap in the market and try to fill it or was it a happy accident? Was there a family member health situation that sparked the search from something better? What led to this product coming into being? This gives a human side to the product.
Examples of using it 'on the go'. Where has this product been seen out and about? Similar to the celeb piece, but in this you make the product the focus and not who is using it. Maybe you might want to do a running story of a day in the life of XS. Give it a character, do it chill at the beach? Does it play tennis? A photo of a can on a deck chair court side, with white head band and tennis racquet would be so cute and would give your blog a different take on this product. You could develop a following just from these sorts of posts alone.
Then go to facebook and start a 'where's sx today?' page where you can post the latest updates.
If you go with turning XS into a character of it's own, think about who you are marketing to. Are they fitness freaks or wanna be fitness freaks? You might want to look at extreme sports, like mountain climbing, scuba diving, skydiving, racing cars, etc. Are they cool and laid back? That might be more beach side, mountain top, perhaps yoga? Let XS do what your readers do or at least dream of doing one day :)

Michelle has given you some great ideas how to expand, but I think you have to accept that this is going to be a very small niche site (and there's nothing wrong with that). If you don't want to expand too far away from the XS brand then it really is going to be limited.
The one thing that I think would be better is if you wrote your own descriptions of the drink. :) Beverley
