Do I need to register my website name or can I just be an individual for tax purposes?
Sorry I mean for taxes. Do I need to register under a business name or can I do it as an individual? I'm Canadian and setting up my amazon affiliate link.

If you have a company or partnership then you register as a business; if not then as an individual. ~Marion

Keep going through the tutorials here. They take you through building your website, posting quality content that targets your chosen niche, and creating revenue generating traffic.
The more traffic you get, the more of an authority figure you'll make of yourself, the more revenue you'll get from your site. Join affiliate groups (including here at WA).
