Am I Doing Something Wrong?
I've been working on my website a long time now (over four months although I had some gaps due to school.) I publish frequently, I target low-hanging fruit keywords, I have comments, and I engage visitors. I carefully structure all of my posts to match the keyword.
Yet still after all of that I'm not seeing the first page rankings trickle in. Not even one. At this point I have 34 posts and not one first page ranking. Am I doing something wrong or does it just need more time? I haven't been worried up until this point, but it is finally starting to seem odd.

Great site - I made a comment and also had a look at your suggestion (as genuinely interested!). I don't actually use a PC (I'm a mac girl) so much of it wasn't relevant to me personally (and some of it was - the page I commented on for one!)

I went to your site, browsed a bit and found it very informative, with a great amount of content. I wish I was far enough along to offer sound advice. However I am sure that you will find some sound suggestions from people who are experienced. Good luck.

You are young and whether you realize it or not that puts you light years ahead of the greater majority of the rest of us.
we have spent thousands of dollars and just as much wasted time trying to find out what does and doesn't work online.
WA is going to help you avoid the road of hard knocks the rest of us has been down.

As already said, do get comments on your site then just be patient, it will start and soon you have more traffic and top google rankings you are doing a wonderful job.
Comments. You need to focus on getting more engagement on your website. Every new post you create, you should be focusing on getting some dialogue going within your comments. This plays a big role on your website rankings.
I recently blogged about this here: A World With Dialogue is Meaningful. You are definitely heading in the right direction, your content is quite good and I think more engagement + giving yourself more time for the breakthrough to happen will truly make a huge difference.
Yes, Comments on every Post. Interaction is a big part of the guest experience. I was able to find one Blog on Google's first page. You'll see more just like that Blog with continued interactions.
Now, have you thought about creating a Page dedicated to EDUCATION?
What about Old and New combined into one Page? YOUR PC, for example, then OLD and NEW beneath.

There are diagnostic tests to run too. Add one for them to see their speed.
An education page is an excellent idea! It will show Google that you're providing tons of value, thus you will be boosted up the ranking in no time at all. Also as a consequence the rest of your content will be indexed as well :) Cheers Upsgirl! Good luck in the future Ninjazrb :)

Think about these Pages...Tech tools, maybe Lesson of the Day, and the Education Page could include things like Google updates, Andoid news, and Microsoft Office new releases. You know...things like that.

I just figured out where that "first page ranking" came from. The keyword for that post was actually "Computer building mistakes" not the whole title. I guess I'm slowly creeping in though.
I'm laughing right now. 10 minutes ago I was worried about things not working. I just got credit for a WA signup. I don't even promote it. I had one link on a post that wasn't a legit post it was a reference to a guest blog. How? I don't even have organic traffic. Lol. Works for me I guess.
