Is this a good as they say to improve your site traffic.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Hi Miguel,
Social sharing your content will definitely help boost your ranking and you can get traffic from it. I wouldn't spend too much time with it. The main social networks I share my content to is, Facebook G+, Twitter, and Pinterest.

Here's a webinar where Jay shows you what you should be doing with your content 60 minutes after you create it.

Check it out

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/your-first-60-minutes-after-content-creation

Let me know if you have anymore questions or need my help.
Scott

It used to be a great deal but with the latest changes to the Google algorithm its not so important now. Concentrate on quality unique content and the big G will index and rank you. Still share it around the normal social platforms, G+ FB Twitter and Pinterest but don't worry about covering them all. Its not worth the time and effort.

Thanks tommo, I appreciate the input. I will concentrate only on quality content.
Cheers!

Hey everyone! So I have a Home button on my site menu but I have my posts set to appear on my homepage. When I click on the Home button it goes to a page that I created but, I w

Go to Appearance > Menus

In the field with your menus click the little arrow to expand the box for your Home Menu button. Then once inside change the URL to be just your website and it will then take people back to the blog roll.

Hi, Jaweda2k, thanks for the help but, I am quit lost here. When I expand the Home Menu button there doesn´t appear any URL field...only, Navigation Label, Title Attribute and Original. Can you please explain to me in a bit more detail how this is done?
Much appreciated.

Never mind Jaweda2k, I have got it ;)
Thank you for the help.
Cheers

Glad you have it all sorted out. Here is a training that may also help you with your menus: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-affiliate-bootcamp-content-keywords-and-conversions/enhancing-your-website-experience

How can I do this? Talk in mind that I am using a free wordpress theme.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Hi Miguel,
Here is some training that will show you how to wrap your text around your images. Check it out below and let me know if you need anymore help with this.

I hope this has helped you out Miguel and if you need anymore help with this let me know.

You think of some rhyming words, stand by your image and say them in a very cool way!

Only joking

I use adobe fireworks but can be done in a similar way in photoshop.

1 - I draw the shape you want the text to go on with the pen tool ( usually a curve )

2 - Then write the text with the text tool

3 - The select both text and the shape you made with the pen tool

4 - Then go to text ( top menu ) and attach to path

Thanks, but not quite the answer I am looking for. I Probably did not explain well. I would like my content text fit around an image of an affiliate link. Imagine I would like to have an image in the middle of my text content without any unnecessary spacing.
Thanks any way for the help.
Cheers

ah i see, apologies.

Ok 2 main ways

1 - Add your text the put the cursor right at the beginning of the text in visual editor and click add media. Before you add the media to the post make sure you choose align left or right in the align drop down box depending on where you want it, then add it to the post. Once added you can preview it and resize the image in the editor as needed

2 - You can install a page builder. Add 2 columns. Resize the columns as needed. Add text to one and an image to the other:

http://www.muslimahwebdesign.co.uk/wordpresstutorials/how-to-add-images-side-by-side-in-wordpress-page-builders/

3 - there is another way. To use shortcodes, depends on whether your theme has a shortcode for columns, you's need to look at their features to see if they do and how to add them

I want to use an image of a celebrity found in a google search to put on my post so that I don´t have only text content, can I use this image or does it have royalty fees? I Thi

These images are likely protected and not usable. Images on sites you are promoting as an affiliate are often available without royalty. However do not assume this and always ask first! The site usually makes some banners and links you may use.

Like music after a period of time pictures become public domain. Only use a source that is royalty free or specifically states that items are public domain (You can even get caught here - if they lied!). Hope that helps. It is best to take your own pictures then you are sure they are OK.

No you do not want to use it with no royalties.

Run Forest Run...........
Do not use them without the royalties, I could tell you some very very expensive horror stories on this topic.

Unless the celeb endorses the product you are promoting It is not a good idea. If you think it is really important for your website you should purchase the rights to use the image depending on if it fits your budget of course. But then again if it is going to make you money i might be worth it. I've purchased rights for as little as $3. and as much as $75. Good Luck.

I am wondering if I can change size parameters of my sidebar/widgets. Is this possible or do I have to choose a small size ad to put in my widget text tab.

I want to change the width of my sidebar too. It's too narrow. Where exactly can you access your theme's administration? I think I found it but there's no option for changing sidebar width. Maybe I just can't do it with my theme. It's Vortex. Anyone got a clue?

the width if your sidebar is set by your theme I believe.

Thanks for the help guys!
Cheers

It depends on your theme some you can change the size of your sidebar some you can't.

Yes, you can. Go into your theme administration. Your theme might be different, but it should be have a tab for layout. There is a section for you to choose left or right sidebar and how wide you want them.
