Hi,

I am having a hard time getting started with web design. Or more presicely, I have the template set up, but cannot find a good way to for example make a good produc

Wasn't aware Adobe had Dreamweaver. Thank you!

I use Weaver Xtreme theme as I can make it look like anything I want. WordPress is so much easier than Dreamweaver.

You have a good answer to the question from #1WAStudent, what I would add to that is this, everyone has their preference when it comes to website design, so what suits one may not suit another and you have to make sure that the theme, does what you want it too, as opposed to looking nice!

I have changed my theme three times, due to the limitations you are describing and now, have a theme template which does everything I want with options for more if needs be

Hope that ansawers the question

Thank you for your feedback. I will investigate further. I have also changed the theme a few times trying to find one that allow me to do what I would like.

As it happens, I am just finishing a post on my blog on this very subject, I 'll send it to you in PM as it will help you I believe.

Yes Please!

If Dreamweaver allows you to make Wordpress templates, that's fine, but without cpanel access, managing anything other than a Wordpress site here is nigh impossible unless you're an expert web developer. These are Wordpress sites here. You might have more luck with a theme builder like Divi (very popular with members) to accomplish what you want.

There are many people here who have outsourced part of their site creation to others.

Bottom line, if you want to learn to do it yourself, check out Udemy - lots of great courses in design on that platform.

I will check out Divi and Udemy. Maybe it is exactly what I need. I would like to learn it my self, but the initial start up is taking long. Thank you for your feedback. I will check out your recommendations. Cheers!

You're welcome. Good luck.

Yes, that is what need. How to make word press with Dreamweaver!

Thank you!

I write my content using SiteContent, publish to WordPress, and then get some creative design in with Thrive Architect Page Builder. I have zero HTML coding ability :)

Thrive Architect Page Builder! Will check this one as well. Years ago before I decided to leave my IT job I actually did some HTML coding, but do not remember much. BUT I know how I want the design. You know.. this goes there and this here and this and this and done! Now to convert from paper to html...

I'll get there! Thank you for your feedback.!

You're welcome. Yes, Thrive is what I prefer but there are other page builders like Beaver builder, Divi, and Elementor. Good luck with whichever you choose.

Hi, i am using the Theme called Mugu and I need to access the metadata for my home page as booking.com requires for me to verify my domain, by adding a code to this section of

Thanks MarionBlack and Andy3568. I got help from the live chat. I added two wigets; one text box and one custom html and added them to my footer. Now sure which one worked, but i did get verified. Thank you for your suggestions though! :)

This method is for verifying for Adsense but it should be much the same for booking dot com.

You have to go to Appearance --> Editor. I think you will enter your code in the header.php file in the "head" section. I'm not an expert on this, so someone who knows better might offer a correction?

Also, you may get a message that you're not permitted to use the Appearance --> Editor. If so, just request access through Site Support here at Wealthy Affiliate. Just be careful editing the header.php file since you can really screw things up. It might be a good idea to back up your website before doing it just to be sure.

Theme: mugu. homepage code? how to change meta data?

Hi, I am trying to publish a page, the site content manager reports that the page is now in queue to be checked for Duplicate Content. It has been like this for over an hour no

Thank you for your feedback! It is posted now! yeah! :D

We're sorry to hear that. Awhile ago, I noticed someone complain the same. I then told him that this is an isolated case, and maybe happening because, WA is currently implementing changes in the system, like for example, the integration of Jaaxy. I'm sure, the people running WA will sort this problem out soon. Have patience and wait.

Hello Nina, I feel something is missing from your post. Are you using a add-on to check your work? If not I would suggest contacting SiteHelp to see what is the problem.

Normally it goes in a snap, but sometimes it seems to take a while.
Not sure why.
It can be many texts in the queue, or something else.
Try to be patient a bit more, or go to the blog o see if it has been posted and it's just the ok message that is hanging.

Ok- I will wait a bit longer and see what happens. Thank you!
