Google page 1, position 1 + a new client for my Virtual Assistant biz!

Last Update: May 29, 2018

Thanks to following the course on WA and implementing everything I've learned, I managed to get a new client for my Virtual Assistant business last week!

She found my blog on my VA website - it was on page 1 at position 3 under the keywords 'Solopreneur VA + social media'.

I was so surprised as I only started my VA blog in March and have only written two posts for it so far.

Still, even with only two posts, people are finding my website and I made it onto page 1 of Google.

I just checked the position again and it's now at no 1!

Given how many other Virtual Assistants are out there, I'm really pleased about this and never thought my VA website would make it to page 1 for any searches, let alone to no 1.

So, thank you WA for all the guidance. I haven't made any money yet through affiliate links on my other blog, but I've still had success by using everything I've learned here and finally starting a blog to market my VA business - and it's paying off!

That's crazy! I love the idea of ranking your VA website in Google. It means you don't have to compete with everyone around the world on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr!

You can charge your own prices, show off testimonials in a beautiful way, and make your own terms on which you interact with potential clients for your business!

Plus, if you can rank, that's immediate proof you know what you're doing in terms of content and SEO.

Congratz, I have only just found out about the VA side of things. So I still have a far way to go. I didn't think you could do that through WA. Good to know you make a client, now I know where else to start putting effort in. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, I was already a VA before joining WA but I moved my VA website over to be hosted here after I signed up for premium. So, I'm not doing VA work through WA but I started my VA blog after signing up and used all the things I'd learned here. So, the VA side of things is separate from WA and I've only written two blog posts for my VA site as I have another blog that I'm doing through WA and I spend more time on that. But if you want to know anything about becoming a VA, I'm happy to help :)

Hi NikkiLanta,
What an amazing thing happens to your website. Page 1, #1 position on that keyword, the last time I checked. Wow... Thanks for sharing. This is motivating!

Also, I just Googled "Solopreneur VA + blog management" and you're Page 1, #3 position. Once again, wow....

Wow, I hadn't checked about blog management and I didn't think I'd still be at number 1 for social media! I'm not sure how I managed that really because I still haven't written any more posts for that blog or done anything with my VA site for ages! Thanks for your comment. Have a great day :)

Thanks. It's motivating me to think of some new post ideas for my VA blog now. I've been concentrating more on my travel blog but now I can see this is a great way to market my VA business, I'll write some more posts. :)
