How To: Add a Personal Touch & Increase Website Traffic!

I have seen many websites and niche ideas roaming around here at Wealthy Affiliate. By far the best way to be interactive with others is to leave comments and feedback on posts. This is a GREAT way to encourage others and lead them in the right direction.

I compiled a list of some tips and tricks on how to make your website appear more inviting and interactive with others!

How to make your Website POP

Images

Using imagery on your website is an exceptional way to break up wordy content and provide an easier look on the eyes. Whether it is small simple images added to widgets or larger, clean images within blogs and other postings – your readers will appreciate it!

Clean Design

Make sure the layout of your website is not messy but rather clean, sharp and modern. Let’s face it, there are millions of people attempting to do what we are, right now. In order for us to be successful in beating them our websites need to offer more to our viewers – inviting them in and making them want to stay or return.

Animation and Using Videos

Animation and videos are another great way to differentiate yourself between your competition. If you have a YouTube channel you can add the videos from your channel on your website as a way to attract more traffic.

There are website templates you can choose from that will more easily support the addition of these things – remember to TAKE THE TIME when choosing your template! Use quick view and choose the website you believe you can do the most with.

Provide Insight and Inspiration

On the internet today there are millions of scams and websites that simply want your money… Offer something more than just a link between you and a product, provide readers with insight and inspire them to do better!

This will also lead to an increase in your own sales because you are now building a relationship with your readers who are now more likely to come back & trust your opinion!

Unique & Relevant Titles

As you will or have learned in the training – you can pick a niche in basically any topic. But it is important to understand how to market to that niche. Make sure the content you are releasing is RELEVENT & INTERESTING & UNIQUE!

This may sound difficult to do but using the tools provided here by WA’s training, we are taught step-by-step on how to achieve this!

Use Social Media

Promote your socials on WA & promote WA on your socials! Be sure to use as many platforms as you can in terms of gather reach. People want to find a trustworthy source for everything – letting them know what YOU (someone they know) has to offer, is a great way to increase traffic.

Mobile Friendly

As a cherry on-top, I recommend making your website mobile friendly. Not all of us have access to a computer or the TIME to consistently be on the desktop.

Providing a mobile friendly website allows for users to access your website WHENEVER and WHEREVER they are!

You can do this!

Don't forget to tell the reader who you are and what your intentions will be on your website. Create as many personal connections as you can to increase the amount of trust and sense of community - we all want to be supported and it starts with being supportive!
