Light hearted humour to keep you all going!
Dear friends older than 40. You are no longer required to put 2 spaces after a full stop, exclamation mark, et al (Or period for you US folk out there). That was for the typewriter era, it is no longer a thing!

I have been gradually training myself to put just one space after a full stop (period for you US folk) but it still goes against all my instincts. Lol Definitely over forty. I learned to type on a manual typewriter 60 years ago.
When I see it, the first thing I think of is typewriting class my freshmen year in high school and the sweet, really nice older lady we had as a teacher who was taken right out of a book, with her pointed glasses, beehive hairstyle, pearls.. she was all about that life, lol
aaaa ssss dddd ffff
lol sorry...I did like the typewriter class 😄 -- the white out ribbon!! Good times.

The funny thing to me about this is that it took me yeeeears to stop double-spacing after the period, and sometimes I still do, maybe just to be ornery. BUT the actual funny part is when I noticed on my phone relatively recently that, if I accidentally space twice, IT ADDS A PERIOD. I mean, come on.... 😄
Full stop 😄
Don't even get me started on the Oxford Comma. I was the oldest person in my English 101 class back in the day, and I argued with the professor about it. The entire class (and the professor) were against me lol! (I was the only one who didn't use it unless absolutely necessary, but I tend to use it more regularly now.) "Punctuation saves lives," as they say. 😄
Everyone is against us! Ahhhhhh 😂
