A Fresh Start

OK so I thought it was about time I started my blog on here to track my progress and maybe offer some inspiration for those who follow after me.

If you have read my profile you will know that I have a background in web design and Word Press. However I had limited success with my IM efforts partly because I was too busy to get time to work on things and partly because the training I had followed in the past always left me frustrated. I always fell down when it came to traffic, and to be frank I found some training simply went against my values and so I would drop out.

Since I do have a handle on the Word Press technical stuff I was really interested in WA for their ethical traffic tactics and the support of the community. However when working through the training I have been really impressed and am actually trying to 'unlearn' everything I have been taught before and focus solely on WA.

I am also going back over old sites that I have that maybe get like one sale a month and using the techniques from WA I am trying to revamp those and get more traffic to them.

At the moment I am taking a career break until my youngest starts school (she is nearly 2) so my hopes and goals are to build a replacement income within the next 2 years so that I can work from home on my own sites rather than have clients to run around after.
