Finally Got The Latest Issue of My Internet Marketing Newsletter Published

I've not been very productive of late. I think some of that's down to the Coronavirus Blues and every day being exactly the same with nothing to separate one day from another.

I've woken up some days and not known what day it was. There have been times I didn't even care because what difference does it make?

I've always been a loner. Maybe it has something to do with being an only child and having to be very self-reliant.

I live alone by choice. I like my space and can only socialize with friends for a few hours at a time before I want to be on my own again. I find people emotionally exhausing.

But I've been cocooned away by my lonesome since early March and seen a friend only once - at a safe distance - in all that time.

Most of the time, that doesn't bother me. But even I like to have the ocassional social contact!

My friends, most of whom are more sociable than me, live with family or partners. If current events aren't a test of the bonds between people, I don't know what is!

I've worked from home since 2004, so if anyone was mentally prepared for the isolation the pandemic has wrought, I'd be one of them.

Some friends also work from home but have their families there too.

And, despite being very comfortable with the isolation and lack of daily social contact with work colleagues, we're starting to feel ground down by the relentlessness of the pandemic.

I know from Zoom calls with my more sociable friends that the isolation and sameness of every day is weighing heavily on them, especially as there seems to be no end in sight.

Even on face-to-face Zoom calls, there's not much to talk about becuase no one is doing anything new or exciting. We reach for topics to discuss, trying to avoid talk of the pandemic because it's wall-to-wall on the news and radio talk shows.

So I think a lot of that overhanging cloud killed my productivity and it's been a couple of months since I got my last newsletter out.
