Hi, I want to upload a new wordpress theme and get "Are you sure you want to do this"? Anybody experienced this and knows what to do?
I Found this on YouTube ...
How to Install a Wordpress Theme Using FTP
https://youtu.be/-Nr96IG-rm4
Themes that are to large, or are paid themes, will have to be uploaded via FTP.
I use Avada - here is their explanation that I used successfully - yours will probably be the same method.
... watch this video:

I hope it helps!
@ 1:15 in the Video ... I get Lost ... He Mentions a wp-content folder ...
Huh ... What ... Where is that ... ???
You need to login your site manager, then click on appearance on left, click on theme, and then Click on Add new either on the top of the page or at the end of your installed theme. after that, you'll see the option to upload theme. if you got the question, just answer YES, upload it and install it. You're done.
Hope it helps. I uploaded about 5 new themes found elsewhere.
Thanks for your help!
Let me try to explain the problem:
After I chose the file and hit "Install now" WP returns this error message: "Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again." Which seems to be a loop.
After about an hour on google, I'll try to upload the file using FTP tomorrow. That seems to be the best way to solve this problem ...
It's ok. I got the same question when uploading a new theme, and lucky me, only waited for about a hour, and did it successfully.
Best of the luck.
Alright I found something on youtube ... do you know if this works if my site is hosted here at WA?
I have to install and update one of my websites via ftp - initially it took some time to do/learn, but after that pretty easy - sorry I didn't get right back to you; I was away from the computer for a while.

What would you prefer, buying a keyword rich and couple of years old .com or register the brand new .org.? Thanks for your thoughts on that.
While domain age is a factor in ranking, it's not a very important one.
"The popular belief has been that older domains do better in search results and are given extra favor due to their age. The idea is that an older domain that has been established has earned a greater level of trust with Google than a younger domain that is not as established. Matt admits that this is true to a point, but domain age is an insignificant factor that really carries very little weight in the Google algorithm."
This video from Matt Cutts of Google explains it:

Depends on how much the .com costs. Many times domain squatters will jack up the price of a domain just because they can, not because it's valuable. If it's a couple hundred bucks and you like it (and have the money) go for. Anything over $500 IMO is pushing it, and I would still pick a .com, but choose a different name.
The thing is that according to Jaaxy the keyword is awesome.
But the domain is a couple of hundreds.
A good keyword won't build a business for you! If you have the money and want it, you can buy it. But If you are on a budget and concerned that not having a good keyword will make it hard for you to make money, don't worry about that.
Still, maybe a good keyword will help you rank for that phrase. It's just something you have to consider, but personally, I don't like paying a lot for domains.
Thanks! Because I really like the keyword / domain name, I will get started with the .org and see how it works out. And as I am new to the business, spending much on a domain simply doesn't feel good.
Personally , I would go for the .com . .org is more for like non profit organisations and such. People are so in-tuned with .com , they would always assume your site is .com . :)

I watched the tutorial on the affiliate program for JAAXY. Why do users tend to be members only for a year?
I think what happens is that a lot of people find their success with Wealthy Affiliate, and then move on unless your main opportunity is promoting Wealthy Affiliate..
