Stop Typing.
It's really exciting putting together something from scratch. It's also rather challenging. I was working on the "About Me" page for my budding website. I put some of my thoughts together yesterday while waiting for my husband. Thank goodness for all the technology we have nowadays!!
For my day job, as an underwriter, I have to put in writing all the relevant facts in which to convince the reader, which is the credit committee, why I am recommending whatever decision should be made for a specific borrower. So today, I organized the thoughts I put together. I added the photos that I wanted to add (thank goodness for my photography skills). Then I see how everything looks. Edit again. Preview it again. It's really easy to want to keep adding stuff. But...then photography kicks in again...and I remember the mantra I learned:
Know your subject,
Focus,
Simply.
Finally, it came together. I was still saying maybe I should add something else...and then I said...WHOA...stop....
I think it is good. I personally think it is damn good. I am contemplating making it the main page.
