Going from standard to premium.
It was a little tough going to go from standard to premium status. A little over a week ago, I jumped in with both feet and thought I had made a successful payment and became a premium member. I was all excited!!
However something screwy happened, I didn't see my status change. I also didn't receive a confirmation email, which I thought was odd. A day or so later, I still didn't see the status change, I lost the ability to post comments and questions, and of course, I wanted to know why. Got in touch with Kyle, who promptly responded that there was an issue with my payment.
Unfortunately since my budget was tight, I had to wait a few more days, before I could attempt to make a new payment. Also, in that time frame I was preparing to travel to see family for the holidays. I was then with family shortly after. Since my budget was tight, I took the delay of payment as a sign to think things through and to decide this is this is really worth the investment.
There is a lot of very valuable training here, however, anything of value takes an investment of time. But my life is constantly busy, with me always on the go. How can I consistently put in the time?
The niche I chose...is not something I am overly familiar with...although it is an experience that I am personally going through. It's going to take a bit of research before I may feel comfortable enough to market this.
I also feel guilty about not putting in more time to my photography lately.
And, of course, since I always am analysing cash flows of everything, and I mentioned my budget is tight. I kept asking myself...can I afford this on a monthly basis, and with the full understanding that it will take a lot of time before I will see the results of this investment?
These are a few of the questions I asked myself. I didnt answer these right away. But...I followed the lessons as best as I could. I found some time even if I squeezed in a few minutes. I read up about my niche, looked at a few sites. I also have some ideas on how to work in my photography skills. I have behind me some of the best analytical skills anywhere, along with an extensive background in sales. And I keep reworking my budget. I also received a raise...so maybe that will help offset things.
Nothing happens overnight. It may not happen in a month. It may be several months. But it's too early to judge anything for sure yet. I'm worth the investment of a few months to see how things go...and then I will evaluate where I am at that point.
It's all good...and I am just getting my feet wet.
