Day 2 - Fun with Free!

I've just started lesson 5, and have laid the groundwork for the 2 free website offerings. The lessons themselves do a wonderful job of demystifying the whole process, and makes it a rather fun thing to do!

Years ago I tried to start a blog, but struggled with direction and drive. There was just too much, let alone sitting down to write legitimate material. I've always loved writing, but admitedly, often lack direction or clear goals to achieve with my work. Purely just a hobby basis.

I remain cautious, though. I realize this will be an investment not only financially, but time-wise. Nothing comes for free, and as I sit and wonder - why aren't more people doing this if it's so easy? - I'm reminded of the fact that it is work, and, as with life, you reap what you sow.

Again, I'm here in honest faith to give an honest effort. My goals, and my life journey, seem to have aligned in such a way that the timing is right. My skillset is oddly compatible to what work needs to be done at this point and I'm excited about the prospects.

It's rather early in the day, yet, but I imagine by my day 3 post I'll be even more impressed with the 2 projects I've created, but wow! The community here is so welcoming! I've all but disappeared from Facebook as I do not enjoy the social media scene (long story short!) but this has a real association feel to it in that we all share a common goal.

My conversations are a bit reserved as yet, as I am concentrating on effectively progressing through the available training, however I do see value in what this platform offers - in many aspects, not the least of which is the social networking. It's unreal that I could just send a message to someone that's been doing this for a century and they'll help me out!

That's pretty cool stuff.

EDIT: The well received advice from Kyle of focusing on one niche as I'm getting started was great. It makes sense! If my goal is to keep it fun and simple, focusing on one will allow me to gauge how much resources is involved. I wouldn't want to get bogged down so early in my affiliate career, now would I?!
