Don’t Spread yourself too Thin!

Quote of the Day:

“Don’t spread yourself too thin...focus trumps freneticism any day.” John Coleman

Meaning of the Quote:

You can only do so many things well at the same time. So only do the amount of things that you can focus on and you can do them well.

Discussion of the Quote:

Freneticism doesn't serve anyone well. When you do things in this manner, you are not able to produce the best quality work that you are normally capable of doing when you are focused on what you can handle.

When you spread yourself too thin, then you will be frantically trying to get everything done within a limited time frame. You will dilute the quality of your work because you can not give each task the time and focus it really needs.

Final Thoughts:

As the saying goes, you should not bite off more than you can chew. In the same way, you should only take on the amount of tasks that you can properly focus on. Be mindful of the tasks that you have to complete, so that you don’t spread yourself too thin. Remember, focus always trumps freneticism.

I appreciate your time, comments and likes.

Kind regards,

Nichola

I agree with you but often life is frenetic because of all that happens with family life.

I totally agree with this thought, this way of doing things. And I would add that it is also important to choose our bundle of the present moment, according to from the moment. What I mean is that you shouldn't have your head at work at home or your head at home at work. Or an educator must leave her "personal life" "bundle at the entrance to the job and take the "" educator "" one because we risk losing quality moments or vice versa.

I like the part on focus and mindfulness. It makes whole lot of sense especially if we are a marketer.
