Progress after Week 1 on WA

With my first week as a WA member complete, here is a quick progress report of what I have achieved so far;

Knowing whether the niche I settled on is going to make my efforts a success is still something I'm not 100% confident on. My background as a professional golfer who has suffered from back injury prompted me to combine the two and focus on helping other golfers to prevent serious back injuries and to relive back pain.

My long-term strategy here is to incorporate other aspects of golf such as instruction, equipment reviews and golf holiday destination reviews.

So after deciding on my niche, purchasing my domain I got my site up and began to write my first blog posts in line with the keyword techniques described in the training.

I managed to get 3 posts written and published and notification that my site had been indexed by google after 2 days.

I have spent a lot of time getting other WA members to comment on my posts as I see this as being a key area of focus as I continue to work on getting my site highly ranked in Google.

My initial thoughts on this method of internet marketing are that a lot of work is required to get visitors coming to my site ahead of the competition. Adding more content with visitor comments and getting interactive within social space will help with this too.
