While selecting my niche domain name as an example:
CanIMakeMoneyWithAffiliateMarketing.com
while testing the results of the domain name on google search engine,
The later is based off of “permalinks”
If your domain is
Canimakemoneywithaffiliatemarketing.com
And happen to write a post tittled can I make money with affiliate marketing the result will be
Canimakemoneywithaffiliatemarketing.com/can-I-make-money-with-affiliate-marketing
The second version would depend how the search engines rank your article.
There is a method to ranking with permalinks but recommend researching here within WA for that.
Personally I would find an easier to remember domain...
Hope this gives some insight. If not reach out and I’ll keep trying,
Timm
I would like to get an easier domain I suppose. and title the articles pages the name that is ranking good.
But that still does not answer my question? what gets ranked better? the domain name or the article name?
If the article better describes your website than you do the article will.
Keep researching man, you will get something that really kicks!

You're overthinking it a little bit. What you're finding in the search engine results are simply what is out there. Those are articles written around that subject. Once you build your site, that site will gain authority and start building traffic and a year from now the same search could result with your domain at the top of the results :)
