Forget the money for now and follow your passion
I really struggled and struggled to write blog posts.
I have tried writing about surveys, online tools and mens grooming, but I always got bored after 2 or 3 posts :-(
Then it struck me, I have been a software developer and development leader for many years and decided to start writing posts about the mentoring I have done with developers who worked for me. I do not have to do any research, it comes straight from my memory and with lots of real examples.
Over a period of 2 weeks, I have churned out 6 posts at www.develite.com and have really enjoyed it. I have at least 2 sides of A4 full of more blog ideas as well.
The latest post yesterday has got 134 Facebook likes and climbing :-)
I have had over 1200 page views and 490 unique visitors, all generated initially from linked in and from yesterday Facebook, wow!
It just shows you that you need to find a niche your are really passionate about.
The next stage is to continue the posts, redo the training at wealthy affiliate and figure out how to generate a revenue stream.
To your success
Nick

Wonderful Nick, and you are so on the right track. As long you go out because of money, you will come home empty handed. Money is not purchased nor forced upon. If your intentions are money, they will be money for all time as you will never be able to get hold of it.
Money is like an old maiden, that needs to be groomed in a proper way and needs attention on a high level. As you start serving others and solving problems out of your knowledge and abilities, you will find yourself more and more attracting all what you desire. Money comes from very alone. This statement may be a slap in the face of millions, and those millions the same time are the prove that this fact is true and throughoutly correct, as those who feel the fact, still go out only for money and come home empty handed.
sunny Regards and enjoy writing your blogs. I would be happy to connect with you also on other networks, as it seems we have an passion in common . development :-D

Great A-Ha moment Nick! I am so happy for you. It made me think that I really do need to link my site to my facebook page. Well, one of them. The other has to be anonymous due to the creepy stalker husband. Ugh.
Anyway - great blog post. When you have found your real niche, your content will flow from you! Good luck!
thanks Maura for your comment, it is great to hear from someone who has the same experience. Left you some ideas on a follow up comment, hope they are helpful.
