Awesome surprise PAGE 1 Google and Yahoo ranking! - Wow! what a day

Last Update: May 19, 2021

Yesterday was super productive for me.

After an in-depth talk with myself, I was supercharged to start the week ahead.

Here are all the events:

  • I created a new website posted my about page and private policy on Sunday
  • Set up Google Analytics, Bing, Console and Microsoft Clarity
  • ALL were indexed by Google the following day
  • I posted a new post yesterday, and it was also indexed yesterday

Wow! Don't you love when you receive those emails starting with the word Awesome?

I wondered what could make that a hat trick.

I was trying to see the ranking of previous post from another website on Jaaay but could to get in.

I reached out to both Carson and Kyle, and they both got back to me within two hours.

Thank you, guys! They are super-efficient!

It turned out I was unable to view my site ranking because I forgot that I put the settings on the automatic daily scan, and unfortunately, I had no scan left until the following month.

What a bummer, I thought until I went through my automatic scan results to see my article.

'Skinny noodles – The fastest way to eat and lose weight,' was on page one of both Google and Yahoo.

What a pleasant surprise?

I was beyond surprise.

Hmm...

Now I am wondering if the magic can last for the entire week!

Until net time,

Simone

I took a look at your post that went to Google page one. I also nosed around your website a bit. The one thing that struck me is how friendly it is. All I can say is "wow! You go, girl!"

I was in a homeless shelter a few years ago. A lot of the food was, to put it mildly, inedible. I started losing weight. I ended up losing 35 lbs. I think that's about 16 kilos. I gained a little of it back, about 5 pounds. None of my clothes fit anymore, so I had to buy a new wardrobe. That's an incentive to keep my weight where it is. I don't want to have to buy another set of clothes.

As long as I pay attention to those calories, my weight is holding steady. And I can eat whatever I want!

My website is rather technical. I'm in the process of finding some nice graphics to put in it and looking for ways to make it more friendly. I always put categories in my content. This turned out to be a very smart move. I have a plugin that lets me arrange categories any way I want. I can also put posts anywhere on the page (this is the plugin I might write some training on as soon as I figure out all of this plugin's features - it doesn't work like other plugins. There are no settings - you have to do this with CSS.) Even though my content is all posts, I can put product reviews on one part of the page and articles (like the history of the knife) on another. Another handy feature is being able to arrange things in alphabetical order. I'm thinking of starting another category called "blogs" in addition to my more technical "articles". This will consist of, obviously, traditional blog stuff. Not sure where I will put it in my site layout. Plus, my life is kind of boring right now. I'm not sure what I want to write about. Well, I'll think of something. I always do eventually. I'm not going to write anything unless I am sure it will contain quality and interesting content. If I can't come up with four or five good posts a week, well that's just how it goes.

I sometimes come across blogs on WA from people bragging about having written hundreds of thousands of words (the equivalent of a couple of novels). I oftentimes wonder if you can keep the quality up and fresh with that kind of output.

I need to do a bunch of editing. I wish the WA training went more into how to write good content (maybe it does in the classroom section. But there is so much stuff in there it's hard to find anything). I've read from a lot of places how long your sentences and paragraphs should be, when you should throw in a header, that sort of stuff. This is very important in helping a visitor stay engaged, or so I've heard.

My local supermarket closed. It was a five minute walk getting there from my home (my car isn't running). The next nearest market is one and a half miles away. While walking there, I frequently go into autopilot mode and my brain starts filling with ideas. I went there this morning to pick up a prescription. My brain went into possum mode - playing dead. Oh well. Better luck next time.

Once again, a heartfelt congratulations!

Best

Terry, thank you
I love your photo

I also think a lot whenever I am walking. I keep on telling myself that I should take either a notepad or a recorder to keep hold of all that information that I always putting out

I look forward to the plugin training. The functions sounds ace.
Never stop being you.

Congratulations Simone!

I am very happy for you.

Hope the magic lasts forever!

As for me, it looks like I'm going to have to find some new vendors. I am using Amazon right now. They give you a certain period of time to sell a certain number of products. I think I've got 10 days or so left. I haven't sold anything yet.

Not a big deal. There are companies that pay better commissions. Plus, I'm not really comfortable associating with Amazon anyway, considering their union busting and the way they treat their employees.

Like CEO Jeff Bezos needs any of my business anyway. He's only worth 180 billion dollars. I just read an article about the 400 million dollar yacht he's having built for himself.

Anyway, it must have felt great seeing your site pop up on page one!

Hi Terry
How are you?
Thank you for the warm wishes.

Sorry that you are struggling to sell with Amazon but it is really lovely that you are positive about finding another vendor

I don't really believe in Amazon and how they make their criteria. I believe you will be more successful with another vendor.

Thank you for stopping by. Let me know how you get on

I remember my first post. I was struggling a little bit but in the long run if you ask for other people's opinions on your post and your website they will give you good advice on how it turned out. Right constructive criticism Is a good thing
