The Daily Grind
Today, when I crawled out of bed and stumbled to the coffee pot to get my cup of pick me up ,as I like to call it. I was thinking I had taken a nice long break from the online agenda , had a great weekend doing something I have loved to do for years. I spent 4 of the longest days I have had in a long time with some good company having a great time . It was a party! Not any ordinary party though, it was a tattoo party. I have been an artist for somewhere around 12 years now and have used this talent in hard times to make some relatively quick cash. Well this weekend turned out to be very profitable and provided me with an entire new directory of clients and plenty of which will be repeat customers.
You see, Tattoo's, are very addicting. Most people that get one can't stop at just one they get "hooked" and have to have more and more. If you are a good artist you can actually generate a pretty generous income.
So as all this crossed my mind at the coffee pot this morning, I thought to myself "BINGO". You slow poke you have finally got it and it has been right under your nose this entire time. Tattoo as a niche? Yeah, I think I can make it work . Im passionate and knowledgable about the topic so why couldn't I.
Its a start and a step in the right direction. Now to figure out where to go from here is another story.
I will be browsing and brainstorming and taking advice in consideration as I continue on further in to my Daily Grind with a possitive feeling about myself and the accomplishments I have been making here within WA.

I was interested in your article. I have a love of tattoos and have 3 but am not addicted - I wish I could be but my skin doesn't allow it.
I particularly noted you saying that you might have found your niche. I have heard this talked about before and I know at least two people who couldn't get it to work. The reason being is what would you sell. There are lots of free tattoo designs available. People are unlikely to buy tattoo designs because they can get their local tattooist to design what they want.
So unless you're going to sell tattoo supplies to tattooists which must be a small market it's difficult to see what you can do online other than showcase your work.
Would be happy to be proved wrong but I just wanted to let you know.

Thanks for your input I do appreciate it . I am going to take that as a challange to succeed within this niche. Also there are more than just supplies and showcasing work. think about it there are clothing , shoes, childrens temporary tattoos, henna tattoos, books,lighters,bed sets , and the list continues so I still have a possitive outlook on this and believe it can be done. I also must say thank you that kind of input gives me some sort of kick in the rear and makes me work harder and harder to achieve my goal .
As I said happy to be proved wrong and you have come up with lots of things that I wouldn't have thought about. There are some really beautiful fake tattoos these days and you're right tattoo designs appear on a lot of items.

Hi. I am a newbie here and discovered your post. I also have a love for tattoos. I decided to get a shoulder tattoo and ended up with a 3/4 Japanese style body suit. So you are absolutely right about the addiction. I hope you can make it online and am keen to see you succeed. Keen also to see your work. Cheers and good luck!
