The most Wonderful and Hectic time of the Year!
Hey all, it's been a while since I have connected with anyone here at WA; but this is my favorite time of the year- with all the family, football, and food! Unfortunately, I haven't got the hang of the holiday/work balance yet, but I know I will get it! It's a little frustrating... but I know I'm still learning! =)
A few years from now, I hope to be able to take several weeks off each year for the Holidays to spend with my family, because having time for family is my ultimate goal. This is the first holiday I will be working for myself, and it is definitely a growing and learning experience; especially being a stay-at-home mom. With all of the school and community activities, parties, and get-together's- I can't seem to keep up! LOL. But I am determined to keep going because I know it will get easier when find what works for my life and schedule. I just wasn't ready for the affects the holidays would have.
I figure trial and error will help me the most, but I am open to any suggestions or tips that may help my balancing act. =)
