I have the vision!
Hey everybody, just an update on how I'm doing here at WA.
I haven't progressed in the training in about a week, I left off about halfway through Course 3, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been making progress! I have written a couple posts and have been trying to figure out exactly how I want the layout of my site to look. I also read a lot of questions and comments here on WA about various topics.
Even though I haven't had a lot of time to directly be working on my site in the last week, I've been thinking about what to do with it constantly. It is almost always on my mind, what I can do to improve. It may be really new and small now but I plan to make it grow and grow!
I'm at a bit of a standstill right now, I want to add a sort of store section to my site and am not sure how to go about implementing it, whether I should use a plugin or what. Also, I already have 6 plugins and for my site health it says to keep it under 5 so that it speeds up loading time. In the training you add 4 right off the bat so that would make it impossible to add any more, that really confuses me. Is there some sort of way to speed up my site and allow it to use more plugins in the process? This is my first website ever and while I feel like I am learning a lot through the training here, there are a few things that trip me up.
Ultimately, I have the vision of how I want my site to look in the future and am very driven to accomplish this! I have months of work ahead of me and it's definitely a bit scary investing so much time into this as well as the money when money is really tight but I have the confidence that I can make this a solid income stream while I have fun writing about stuff that I'm passionate about and help people find the plushies they want in the same process! I will get there, that's my promise to myself!
So here is to my future success and to the success of anyone and everyone who takes the time to read all of this! I love WA, the community is amazing and so helpful. I'm just a newbie now but I look forward to the day that I'm knowledgeable enough to help others as well!

You are making wonderful progress! I just saw Kyle respond to a post and in his response he suggested trying to keep plugins to 10. So don't fret I wouldn't fret about the 5 number. I have read a lot about the plugins and a lot of it has to do with which plugins the are and if they work well with your theme!
Oh okay, I wish the site health in the site manager here at WA would reflect that 'cause it had me worried but thank you for the reassurance! I have much to learn but am very willing to do so!
Hi Andrew! You're doing great! I wouldn't worry to much about your pluggins. That's just a number. I know people that have 12 and their site speed is just fine. I have 10 and mine is 1.96 sec.
Good to know, I hate seeing my site health go down when I add one but knowing that you have 10 that others have even more is definitely of some comfort to me! Thank you!

All good progress. 10 plugins would not be so hard to do.
