Time to move
Start Walking
Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, let's not forget all those extra calories we consumed in that big meal. And with Christmas right around the corner, which means more turkey and gravy, dressing, cakes, pies, cookies, etc. Well you get the picture. Adding a 15 minute walk to your daily schedule will get you in motion and will lead to other physical activities afterwards. This will give you a jumpstart for a much healthier life in the coming New Year and the future.
Don't out it off! Start today.
Thanks

Great reminder Nelson.:)
Sometimes it's too tempting not to have the meals but I think a strong self-discipline would be a better shield. :)
Joe:)

What a great post. Yes, walking is great but many people do alot walking and climbing the steps at there 9-5 jobs so that is a good thing of course.
So if they do that they will be in good shape for Christmas and then they will just have to walk more from Christmas because there is more going on for Christmas.

That is true. But I have found in addition to any daily walking you normally do, adding a brisk walk in the open air in the morning or after work is invigorating.
Yes, it is. It is a good thing because you can clear your head so you can think. Get some fresh ideas and you can start brainstorming too.

I try to start everyday with a good stretch then a nice long walk. Good for my meditation and reflection.
That is wonderful I am glad to hear that I can't do that not in my neighborhood it is not safe to do that. So I do alot of walking in the house and when I go to the hospital I do alot of walking there so it kind of makes up for it in a way.

Awww do you have a park you can walk in?
I do but that is about 10 minutes away it is not in the neighborhood but since my husband got his service dog we can walk together in the park that would do us both some good. Thank you for the advice I really appreciate that.
Mary
