No Quick Fix

When it comes losing weight and getting in shape, there no instant solution. Fad diets don't work. For after you lose the weight you are going to go back to your regular diet. And when you do, you will gain back that weight and fat plus more. It only makes sense. To take off weight and get in healthy shape I am sorry to tell you; exercise and a healthy diet is the only way. I personally at one time weighed 215 lbs and standing at 5'10", with more fat than muscle. I was miserable and very uncomfortable. So I got help from a friend who marketed the "Bahamian Diet" and he also coached me. In 60 days I lost 35lbs down to 180lbs and to this day, 13 years later, I weigh 185lbs and I am in very good shape. All because I changed my eating habits and I exercise regularly. Not bad for a 60 year old man. Take it from me, it take work and discipline to get in shape and stay in shape.

As a Personal Trainer/ Nutritionist all you have to do is give up the carbs. Very simple. Humans were in a constant state of Ketosis for thousands of years. Just in the last 80-100 years have humans become sugar burners(carbs) and quit being fat burners(protein, fat). PM me if you need help getting in shape, losing weight, gaining muscle, etc....

You are right about carbs. Sugar is a carb along with pasta and breads. All those calories turn to fat. We Americans eat too many of them. Right?

Up until the last 80-100 years all humans were in ketosis. Carbs were pretty much non-existent. Look at all the people that come in mcdonalds. 85% are not just fat, they are morbidly obese.

Yes McDonald's poisoning the people in the world. They do not realize it.

I can live with Wendy's. You can eat healthy there. Have you ever tried the Keto diet. I have clients who have even gotten off of their diabetes and high blood pressure using Keto. Very tasty food choices. Just give up the carbs. Check it out.

Great job! I have struggled with my weight since...birth...I think! Seriously, though, it has been a struggle for me for most of my life and all of my adult life.

I know it takes hard work and discipline and patience, too!
Now if I could just get all three at the same time!

The way I started was with my diet. Protein shake in the morning, another for lunch then a good dinner. Did that for a month and continued to make changes. Hope that helps.
