Breathe

Breathes you have been here before.

Pause amidst the business. During the days of uncertainty and confusion. During the moment when life seems to be moving at one hundred miles per hour. Pause. Allow yourself to take a moment to stretch and feel your muscles relax. Let any tension fall away take in as much air as your lungs will allow and just breathe. You are doing better than you think. – Nikki Banas

Remember inner peace begins the moment you take a deep breath and choose not to allow another person or event control your thoughts. You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become in this moment. Let go, breathe, and begin again. – Marcandangel

You are going to be ok. Remind yourself of all the times in the past you felt this scared. All the time you felt this anxious and this overwhelmed. And remind yourself how each time, you made it through. Breathe and trust that you can survive this too. Breathe and trust that this is a part of the process and growth.

Breathe and remember that you have been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared. And you’ve survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feeling can’t break you. They are painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them. And eventually they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon. They are going to fade and when they do, you’ll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again.
