Ditto to that. As a teacher I get paid by the hour, and yet a large part of my spare time is planning lessons, marking homework, responding to questions, etc. that is all unpaid! I love my work, but I can't even pay my bills right now!
At least in building towards a passive income, you know you WILL be rewarded for your hard work in time.
