Just a quick one

Since commencing this enjoyable exercise of answering various questions I have understandably been criticised for not including pictures of what I am verbally describing. I would respectfully advise that there are legitimate reasons for this

Firstly now being in Canada i do not have access to photographs of what I am speaking about.

Secondly my lack of knowledge and experience has me not knowing how to get any

Thirdly I know that if one googles anything I am talking about there are many photos illustrated However I do not know how to get them from Google to the Blog. But more importantly I have no idea whether I am allowed to and in my unenviable financial position I am simply not prepared to take that risk.

All I can suggest is that you Google whatever I am talking about and there will be the pictures for you to see

Now back to more questions.

You just received some good and easy training. It's really not hard but do be careful what you pull of the internet. Too bad you don't have access to photos you took.

Thank you for the advice. My comment was not a criticism, just a comment. Thank you for the explanation. Moving pictures from your files or images is relatively easy. I use Google Advanced Image search to gather pictures. Should you want more info on that, just PM me and we can talk further.

Hi Neil, so if someone gave you training or helped explain it then it would still not matter?

Please explain further Would be appreciated

If you hover over an image you can right click on the image and check save image as. This will put the image in your computer files as a download image.
You can find this by going to your add media tab where you do your content work. When you go into the media tab you just select upload photo or image, then open it into your media library.
Fill in the required fields for alt text, caption if you want to add one, whether you want it left, centered or right on the page and then select none if it is just an image and not a link.
I have the edit media training, Loes just did adding media training...and I know there is other training as well.
You can also use a screen shot tool, I have one that is really easy to use that came with my windows 7 programs.

You need one of the free tools for screen shots such as Jing and then you can do the advanced Google search for free images!

Those technical things are above me yhats for sure

Definitely all stuff I have had to learn! :)

Hi Neil, very understandable, the only pictures I can offer you are the ones from my website freeimages.siterubix.com, 100% free, but very Dutch:) No kiwi's but ducks:)

Be proud of your ducks my love lol
