Amazon isn't ALWAYS the best affiliate.
So my one of my blogs has Amazon as one of it's affiliate, however, I worked out that Amazon not only is quite small on commissions unless you sell either a LOT of stuff or high value items, but you are competing with the rest of the world.
So I prefer to promote:-
- Wealthy Affiliate (residual passive income for people that sign up)
- Bitcoin Mining sites
- Investing opportunities
So by focusing more on things that are directly relevant to the site I make a LOT more money because I'm building up things like Mining hash power .

That makes a lot of sense and I may have to get more information from you later. I be working on my site this week.
Thanks,

By my estimations, Amazon should be a "secondary" affiliate for most niches. Something to "catch the occasional," but not something to rely on as a major affiliate. Unless you're somehow building a niche around Amazon shoppers, there's probably something far better out there.
