I'm Starting A Personal Blog

As soon as I publish this blog post, I'll head over to Wealthy Affiliate's 'SiteDomains' to purchase my site's name. It's available, and I'm wicked excited!

I'm a fan of niche sites and blogs. I believe that if you want a serious business with serious potential, then niche sites/blogs are the way to go. But, I'm going to launch a personal blog/website.

There's a handful of reasons why I'm launching a personal blog. I'll quickly go over the main ones, and kind of what my goals are with this specific site/project.

Why I'm Launching A Personal Blog

There's actually many reasons why I'm doing this. But the few key ones are:

Variety Of Content

I enjoy creating all sorts of content. I used to publish articles on all different platforms, and I used to just write what I wanted to write about. I never niched down on those specific sites.

Well, for the first time ever I will launch a personal blog. I'll write articles within 10 niches, but I won't be doing any hard SEO with them. The main purpose of this blog is to publish basically whatever comes to mind.

Social Media Purposes

I'll also have a personal blog for social media purposes. I'll publish articles to my site, and then likely create social media content based around those articles.

I'll then attempt to make a little bit of money through in-house programs, such as whatever Facebook's Monetization programs are, X's, YouTube and so forth.

I think if anyone has their own social media persona, then they should seriously consider having a personal blog/site; If they haven't gotten one already.

I'll Put Myself Out There More

I'll put myself out there a bit more. Actually myself, and not under some persona or faceless name. So, my personal blog will double as a portfolio, at least to some extent.

Goals

A few of the main goals I have with my soon-to-be personal blog are:

Money

Yes, money. I plan on making money via social media. As previously mentioned, it'll be via whatever in-house programs the platform/platforms offer. The personal blog will (in part) serve as a hub for ideas.

The content I publish there, I'll go back and look at week after week. And then I'll choose the content to create social media content; If that makes sense.

Personal Branding

My second goal is to grow a personal brand. I have a rough idea of where I want to take it, and it's a bit hard to explain in writing. Long story short, personal branding is one of the goals of my new blog.

Consistency And Creativity

Finally, I need to become much much much more consistent with content creation. As mentioned before, my personal blog/site will kind of serve as a portfolio. Therefore, I'm going to be consistent with things.

Also, I want to be more creative. I love being creative, but I feel like I can be much more creative with a personal blog than I can with just one specific niche;

At least in the sense I can write about anything I want to write about, across the 10 niches that my blog will cover.

Final Thoughts

I have nothing else to say except, I'm ready to do this. I always get excited when I tackle new projects, challenges and what not. And I love using the tools here at Wealthy Affiliate.

The more I use the AI tools, the better I get with everything. This includes content creation, ideas, image creation and much more.
