The Time of Our Life
I just got a shocking news this morning if someone who I know only for one moment just passed away. He was a young man, 28 years old. He just reached his dream and about to lived it in this year. I met this man one week ago. So, here is the story:
My sister want to work on the cruise ship. But she don't know what it takes to prepare and get the job. Suddenly my girlfriend remembered who she had a friend who already work at cruise ship and then she contact him. It was a perfect time because he just came back to the city for the holiday and he was available so we arranged the meeting.
Last week I met this man. It was me, my sister, and my girlfriend. From the very first he was very friendly. He was very passionate about his job and he told us who he just got accepted to a cruise ship company who he always dreams of and he was waiting to got back to work (if you work in the cruise ship you will know who it takes time until you get the call and start to work). He was so happy to help my sister and he answered all the question with a "secret recipe" who usually people in an agency will charge it with money. Even he offered a help and would accompany us to manage all the documents. This guy, had a lot of POSITIVE energy within him and I can felt it. He also told us his blood, sweat, and tears when he builds his career. That's why I decided to build a relationship with him. We spend a lot of time together who day and we only talked about positive conversation. Even we continued to watch movie together until who night he went home and we never meet again.
So, last Monday, I had sport day with my friends who night. When I took a break, suddenly this man crossed my mind and I took my phone and I was try to contact him. I wanted to know his situation and asked him to hang out together again. But I didn't do who and thought maybe tomorrow I would reach him out. But as the time went by, I forgot.
Until this morning. I got the news and It shocked me and my sister. I just met this man ONE time. But I feel sad when heard the news and so does my sister. I tried to find out what caused his death and when it happened. Evidently, he had a motorcycle accident and you what, It happened at Monday night and he passed away in the hospital. Right at the time he crossed into my mind!
From the short time of our meeting, I learned a lot from him. We just meet one time and I feel really lost. It feels like I just loose a brother who I've known for years. I still can't believe it. Something who make me sadder is he just got his dream. He even didn't have a chance to "taste" it. A man with his dream is one of the wonders of the world. His last step was when he stands in the finish line and the start line. I get all of my respect. So, from this story I learn:
1. We don't know our time. I don't say this to scare you but this is the reality. Our time is really precious more than anything. When It took away from us there won't be a second chance. Except we can come from the death.
2. Live our life with passion. Love what we are doing and use who to inspire people. Just have a pure hearth who we want to help people with what we have. Don't think about money, something in return, benefit, or whatever it is. As a human, It's a privilege if we can help another people with what we have in our hand.
3. It takes blood, sweat, and tears to reach our dream. It never be an easy way. But when you reach your dream, all of the blood, sweat, and tears will be a magnetic vibe who will attract people to follow your step. It's not what who you have but It is why you have it. So, never give up!

That was sad Oxa, some of the folks we meet on our journies do have an impact on our lives.
You have listed three very good lessons and ones that we should always keep in our minds, easier said than done so thank you for the reminder.
