Keeping Consistent
We all get challenged in this department with the things that come in life but it is possible to stay constant in your goals. First don't beat yourself up if you lose a step sometimes, instead get back on track and minimize energy on frustration. If you simply need a break, give yourself a break but don't make it a habit. As you have these hiccups try to start identifying what's keeping you from moving onward. Be blunt with yourself and accept what it is. Maybe your simply lazier than you had thought, ok make an agreement on what your willing to get done and build from there. Instead of spending 6hrs working cut it to 3 because maybe that will lay the ground work for more consistency.
Most of us who work on a schedule should probably give ourselves that at home as well. I keep things loose and still get things done but I know if I tighten it up a bit more I'll accomplish at least 30% more. It's challenging because it is new to us and we are new to it. The it being a blog, a business, a project, a hobby, whatever.
Create the structure needed to fit with your life and as it grows your life will adjust to the creation your building. Give yourself a chance to fail and mess up because it will happen if you try hard enough. After it happens don't feel bad for yourself for too long because again that's wasting time and accomplishes nothing. Go blow off that steam & take a boxing class then you'll look at your blog as a piece of cake compared to hitting the bag. This is for me as I'm writing it for you so let's push thru the time suck and distractions of the day towards our goals.

Hello Nate and thanks for sharing.
Being consistent is vital to success here in WA, taking one step at a time and not putting much pressure on yourself.
Taking a rest when we need to and coming back stronger and with new ideas can make a huge difference.
All the best to you today.
Darren :)
