Hello WA! Here are my goals!
It’s been almost a week since I signed up for the starter membership with Wealthy Affiliate. As of yesterday, I have upgraded myself to the premium membership.
I’ve always loved spending my time on the internet. It really is my hobby… if you can call it a hobby that is. I have been blogging occasionally on my personal site since 2009, reviewing books and writing about everyday stuff and am pretty active online on most of the social media sites. Anyway, many times while surfing I’ll come across an article on affiliate marketing. It’s something very new to me and I’ve always been interested to learn about it and I’m glad I found WA. Since I signed up, I’ve had a couple of warm welcomes and I thank you for that. I’ve always loved online communities that are open to connect and learn from each other regardless of race, religion or creed. And so far WA has given me the feel that it is that kind of community.
Anyway, I thought I’d use this blog space to chronicle my progress in Wealthy Affiliate.
In the first few lessons, I was asked to state my financial and non-financial objectives and I wanted to make it public here. Why? Well, so that you could probably help remind me of my goals should I lag behind with my progress for whatever reasons.
So… here it is:
Financial Goals
Questions #1: How much money would you be happy earning? USD 2000 a month
Question #2: How much money would you be ecstatic earning? USD 10,000 a month
Question #3: And how much TIME are you willing to invest to achieve these goals? One hour a day for the next one year to achieve question #1.
Non Financial Goals
Next 10 days – Set up my website.
Next 30 days – Start with building website content.
Next 6 months – At least earn my first commission.
Next one year – To earn USD 2,000 a month from what I’ve learned from WA.
Ultimately, my goal joining the WA community is to have fun and learn as much as I can about affiliate marketing. I don’t know if I will pursue this as a business after a year but even if I don’t, I’m sure the lessons I learn from WA can still be implemented in my current career in the advertising field.
With that said, wish me luck and do drop by once in a while to see where I'm at.
