The only way I could think of is to bulk edit all your posts and pages and change their status from published to draft or pending - and put up a page explaining to any future visitors that your site is under maintenance or construction.

I need to suspend my account for awhile. how do I do this?

Click on your tiny icon on the top right of this page and select Account Settings. You can cancel your account there. You can come back and reopen your account when you're ready.
You'll have 30 days to back up your website to your computer or move it to a new host.
That was 2 years ago, Terence. The WA platform went through a complete revamp a couple of months ago.

In the process of trying to create a search link for an affilate I was told to use control-V and it messed up my site. The site is now micro-small. What can I do?
It didn't post just turned everything micro-small. Just did a live search and it's like that as well.
Just load the previous version of your site.
Or if it is a widget, just delete it.
I can't give any support without knowing what you paste in.

How do I use AJAX interface and Firefox/Mozilla 1.X in reference to this issue as per WA help?
I think even If you don t use it the platform here is ok. Ajax is good if you have many domains. you have to pay for it
