Hi Nance. I live in Australia and I use the GDPR plug-in that I downloaded through Wordpress and set it up by following the instructions. I find it’s best to have this on my website as people from around the world visit the site and maybe a potential customer. I hope this helps.

Thanks Yvonne . Yes I just downloaded the GDPR plugin plus the EU cookie plugin .Lets see if thats what partners want to see - Many thanks :)

Great, I find it’s often for the best.

Many many thanks ! I shall look at all the resources :) Many thanks Abie !

You're very welcome.

Hi Nancy,

I think you can install a plugin and then follow the set up to ensure GDPR compliance.

You'll find them here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/GDPR/

You can then tell AWIN you're using such and such a plugin for GDPR compliance

Hope this helps

All the best

Thanks , I will do that :) Thanks !

This is a British data control iissue.
Please go and take a look at the I. C. O. website to gain an understanding of how GDPR works, in practice. https://ico.org.uk/
This will give you background for addressing this on your site.
Hope it all works out for you.

Yes British or european as I am based in Spain - nonetheless it is fiddly to know what to do but will look at the site - Thank you very much !

On wordpress site can i put one menú bar as heqder and another menú bar on aide with diferent options

Hi

Depending on your theme and its limitations, you may have

Your primary menu.
Your secondary menu.
Footer menu.
and Social media icons menu.

You can make your primary menu a mega extensive menu.

https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-a-mega-menu-on-your-wordpress-site-step-by-step/

You can set your page to your latest blog posts or static page totally your choice, however if heading with a static page, you may then create an empty page and call it "Blog" and add it to your menu. When your visitors clicks on it, they can see all your posts.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much - I will check this out . Thank you ! Also should we put product reviews as a separate section ? as part of WA bootcamp training we need to write 6 reviews at the end of level 5 -so i thought of putting a separate section of reviews . Im tryin to put myself in the shoes of the user and think where do i navigate when i go to a site - lol

You can a category called "Product Reviews" and add it to your menu, then assign posts to it, so when visitors click the category they can see all posts related.

Tutorial

Navigational menus are so very helpful. Some themes provide more than others. You may want to take a look at what the free theme Astra has to offer. We use it because of the many menu options. The free version provides so many great features.

The better the navigation the better your ranking will be cause your visitors will be able to find other post of interest, especially if you categorize them.

There are basically 2 options for your home page: A page written specifically called your home page which is Static or the 10 latest posts. The layout is your decision. The About me is better used as in the sidebar.

Thank you so much for your input ! Is this theme of Astra available in Wordpress site as that is where my site is . Yes I tend to agree that the About me is probably better as a sidebar - i suppose people want to see how valuable our content is and then this sparks curiosity about the writer . Thanks :) Good to see from all angles :)

you can have as many menus as will help your visitors navigate your site....
but make sure they know what they mean and how to use them intuitively...
if you change your home page to a static page hten it is worth thinking about how you would like your visitors to journey through your site and plan it as such...
most won't land on your home page but will land on searched for content, but you can try to get them to your home page and from there into other parts of your site....
until you have around 30 articles on your site i would stick with hte blog roll...
this way you concentrate on creating content rather than styling your site (you concentrate on giving )
good luck
phil
you can have a short about me in the sidebar to give confidence signals that they should take notice of what you are showing/ promoting to them

Thank you Phil for your detailed answer and your view point. I was getting hung Up about the blog posts being the home Page . Im only wondering about potential affiliate partners Who look at sites but i suppose the navigation needs to be well set Up . Thanks!

the affiliate partners will be looking for content that relates to their niche...so either a static or a blog roll will suffice...
glad it helped

That would be your independent service it has nothing to do with the platform, totally your business.

Yes you would need some sort of support in place, however not necessarily live chat but you need to work with your clients resolve their issues as and when they arise.

You're in business to make money however you should always under promise and overdeliver. A happy client would refer you to many others, word of mouth marketing is very effective.

Hope this helps.

Yes, with Premium plus you can have up to 50 websites, and yes, you must pay for each domain every year (or multiple years) to keep it active.

I'm not clear on what you mean about the 1000 monthly visits. Can you elaborate on that, please?

Are these blog posts just for the blog here in WA or can we take them from ou own blogs from our sites ?

Hi

You can blog your questions, that's the Pencil, top menu, choose Blog at WA. I believe there's a limit to blogging on the WA blog roll for the first three months.

Again you may like to post about why you chose WA, how you come about your niche, what are your goals for this week and the following, aspirations, etc.

After the three months, you may blog up to 3 each day.

Reset is at midnight Canadian Pacific time.

I would treat it same as my posts on my site, with a searchable targeted keyword, so when visitors land on your blog posts and if they sign up (20 seconds prompt) you get a referral and when they later upgrade you get a commission.

Would be nice to hear how you are getting along. Much obliged and best wishes.

This is a great question Nance and I think it has been answered very well. Blogging here at WA can get you some referrals but you need to focus mostly on building content on your website to get traffic to it. Around 1300 words seem to be best and 2 - 3 posts per week.

I will put a tutorial below so that you can get some tips on getting noticed by Mr Google. We can't put links to our website posts on WA but you can put a link to a blog here into a post on your website to draw people to Wealthy Affiliate.

I hope this helps.
Lily

Yes, separate from your website, and only one a day for the first 90 days, then after that up to 3 a day, I believe!

Jeff

When someone publishes a post , will you see it your blog,am confused

Yes, you can write every day one blogpost on the WA platform. you can create a blog post similar to your website but a blog post from here to a website depends upon which niche related is to your website if it is related why not go for it? But you need to increase the content on your website to 1000 words.

Thank you! So 1000 words is ideal for a blog post ?

Yah thats we obliged to do so. Or even more more than 1k could be better.
