My New Whare - The Forgotten World Highway on SH43 Whangamomona NZ

I moved home in January, one week before the 30-year anniversary of the Whangamomona Republic. Moving for me was from 30mins inland at another small place, at the Huiakama School House, of which I resided for about 2.5years.

As you can see, my location is not only remote, it is beautiful, and I am at the bottom of a valley, just before the township itself.

Working from home has always been a dream of mine and something I am still pursuing... as last February, I had a car accident that made a huge difference to my life. Yes, I am still here, but I lost a year of my life and I am in the process of taking it back.

I had not idea how much I relied on my memory for just the simplest things so when I found out that the ongoing headaches and 'gaga' feeling I had on a regular basis was a result of my accident and needed to learn to live with 'Post Concussion Syndrome'.

Being the sharp shooter I had been over the years, I struggled with forgetting the most basic of things, like what I was doing... but as for online and developing my website, my internal mind map had gone.

I was devastated and took time to rest as advised... Long term, well it is time to get back in the saddle, one and a half years later, and make a go of this.

Time to start sharing success stories as I have been a member of WA for a long time, no longer will I be the hermit I have been and be accountable to writing daily again to get my websites flowing.

Interestingly enough, they have aged and daily visitors is interesting as I have not monetized my sites yet. Now I can see the keywords, time to put all my training into practice.

Don't let the interruptions hold you back for any longer than is needed to heal, properly.

Life without cognitive brain function for an online business, not the easiest.

Have you or a family member been on their life journey and had similar happen and interrupt said journey?

So pleased I am still here to talk about it an share.

Cheers

Jo

Welcome back Jo. You should be proud that you're tough enough to rebuild your life.
You will get lots of support here and no judgement. Relax and enjoy the journey back.

I lost my memory from a serious illness at 24 and couldn't walk or talk for 18 months. It's been a long road back but no one would guess now. Just surround yourself with kind people. Set a gentle pace and grow back into your skills.

Cheering you on.

Lily 😊

Thank you Lily, that is so reassuring.

It has been a hard path but one I am prepared to continue on.

I move to this location for the relaxing life and that is what I am receiving so healing has been absolutely awesome and I am feeling great more often than not.

Learning my pattern to know when to write will be my next step, but getting into the habit of writing more often is my immediate goal.

Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it.

Cheers
Jo
