What Is Your Purpose?
So, what is on your mind these days? If you are like me, my mind is going in a thousand different directions as I try to build an online business. However, one word keeps coming back to me. That word is PURPOSE.
Why am I so bent on creating an online business? I mean, I don't have to do this. I can go do something else and make money doing it. Yet, this online thing keeps calling to me. So, what is my PURPOSE in doing online business? What is my WHY?
Well, obviously, increasing my income is one of my goals. I am a retired person with a small pension. So, having an online business can help to boost my income contributions to my family.
Is money the only motivation in doing what I am doing? I can go make money some other way. I don't have to build it online. What is it about this online thing?
The online business is beautiful. I can work from home and create a business. I can still build my business offline while I build online.
Truthfully, this online business stuff is just plain exciting. I am always learning new ways to market my business online. Plus, I am made some awesome friends online that I would never have met otherwise.
Now, it is a normal thing for me to have a friend on the other side of this globe we are riding on. This sort of friendship for me has become so common that I really don't think much about it.
The other day I mentioned something about a friend in another country to a family member. This person looked at me like had two heads. My virtual world has gotten bigger than most people's virtual worlds. That is okay. This is my life, not theirs. So, friendship is definitely a part of my WHY.
However, there is a PURPOSE even more prominent than money and friendship that is driving me. I know that I have only a certain number of days left on this earth. I want to make a difference and help as many people as I can while I am still here.
I have gathered a wealth of knowledge in my lifetime. I made a career out of going to college and always learning. So, why not share that knowledge and help others at the same time? I can take the education and learning to my grave. Or, I can share it with others.
Needless to say, I have found my PURPOSE and WHY. I am here to share my knowledge and learning with others. If I make some friends and money while I do, well that is good. In the long run, I want to live a PURPOSE DRIVEN Life. Just not take up space and breath air.
So, dear reader, I challenge you to explore your PURPOSE and WHY. You may be pleasantly surprised by the outcomes.
