Keyword Research - Why You Should Use LSI
I know what your first question is. What the heck is LSI? That's the same question I asked when I stumbled across the term.
LSI is "Latent Semantic Indexing," and more commonly, it is known as "long tail keywords." Basically, LSI keywords are a result of identifying plurals and synonyms of your main keyword.
Search engines rely upon LSI keywords to determine what the content of a website is about. When ranking a site, it is important to relate the content with the propery categories, and LSI plays a big part in making that possible.
When you are more specific with your keyword selection you can guide search engines while at the same time, keeping insuring that your content feels natural. When your content flows normally, your chances of being penalized by a search engine is minimized.
Give LSI a try and see what new keywords you can uncover for your website.
