Ten Days In For The Win
Ten Days In
Well It has been Ten days since I discovered Wealthy Affiliate. I think I had passed by here a few times but this time I stayed. Why did I stay? I started doing a MLM business about two years ago. I was not successful and in the end the company itself went under. When the company closed, I felt discouraged and disappointed. I was never able to achieve a client base. Was it my fault or the company? It was both of us. They didn’t provide the incentives for people to be attracted and I just blurted out what was ever told to me. I didn’t have a foundation person to lead me. After the company disassembled, I started another MLM business. Again the learning foundation was not there, but I had the support of many to lead me on. Unfortunately I have not been able to achieve the success that I desired. I took it upon myself to research and learn where I felt my downfalls were or tried different approaches, but above all did what I was told. I’m still with this company, but I want more.
When I continued to do research for how to make money at home. I saw a post on Facebook by a friend that talked about an opportunity. When I found out what she was promoting I researched that, only to came across a blog that a member here wrote about the company. On the side was an advertisement about how they were able to change their life and stay at home doing what they love. Well clicking the link sent me to Wealthy Affiliate. I looked at what it had to offer and thought to give it an opportunity. I’m glad that I did.
In For The Win
It’s been Eights days today since I decided to go Premium. Why did I decide to go this route? The first two days I spent discovery everything but wanted more. More of I needed more. Eager to learn what all the other classes would be about. Having the ability to connect with individuals who were not working against one another, but with each other. Since going Premium I have learned to much more. Having instructions on how to build and define who you are as an individual is success in itself.
Since going Premium I been been able to learn how WordPress works and implement Plug Ins that can help grow my business. It has been exhilarating for me to do this. I took a web class once so some of this information is like an amazing refresher course., but don’t tell my old Professor that I’ve learned more from here with this system then I did for that semester of school. With continue learning and advancement I know everything will become better.
I’ve been doing Bootcamp along with the Certification thus this far. I believe they both complement one another very well. It gives me time to take a break from one or the other. I’ve been sharing my affiliate link with others. I know that I’ve had over 1000 unique and raw clicks since I started. One day I really promoted it and my little graph grew. I liked the system because it provided me with information that someone was looking. I did have two people sign an account one at a hundred percent. That made me feel very successful. What in ten days I was able to create traffic and potential new affiliates. For those other MLM companies I always felt like I was yelling out into space. I was not seeing; “likes” so the thought process is that it’s not working.
It’s truly inspiring that when you help others you are noticed. Again it feels good to see on your Ambassador ranking that you're growing and having progress by helping others. I don’t know of any MLM business that will show you that they notice that you're trying, instead of how many sales did you achieve today. So thank you for that. It’s nice to be appreciated.
I’m still trying to find my niche, it sound good at 2:00 am but when I present the idea to myself again or to others I don’t receive the rapport that I was expecting. I throw out ideas all day long but then I have to think about all aspects of it. Shipping, marketing, and so forth. What it it doesn't sell. I have a lot of that in my inventory already from past attempts of not working or selling. So it’s hard and I don’t have the start up cost to go and experiment with ideas that others may dislike.
I’ve been trying to find my niche for years at craft fairs. I just want to do something that will be profitable. I’m really tired of putting out money on products that are supposed to sell that don’t. So being able to build my own websites is great because I can sell whatever I want. Speaking of building a website. It has been so easy that I just love it and just love the plugins.
Where am I going to be in three months? I hope to have my sight up and going, domain bought, inventory in hand, google mention even if it’s just once. I would love some sales. I want to know that I can be successful. I believe that Wealthy Affiliate will be able to provide the help that I need to become profitable and functionable.
Where am I going to be in six months? Right now this seems like a long time away. But if I put my goals in perspective and I try to achieve them, then I will be able to reach them. I would like to say that in that time I was consistent with my blogs and maintained my website to be accurate and productive. I hope that my hard works and efforts will also reflect in my status here in my Ambassador ranking.
Thank you for your time.
Marsha

Thanks for sharing your story. I do believe you will be able to reach your goals. I know 6 months seems far away but it gives you something to work towards and it feels good to accomplish things towards that major goal. Wishing you all the best with your success! I started the end of June so we came to WA around the same time :)
