What muscles do we need to reach our passionate destinations?

Good people, today I want to talk about these four keywords, commitment, dedication, perseverance, determination and focus as we pursue passions in our different niches.

Commitment, comes with the will power of the individual to succeed through learning in your niche. Thus, will power begets commitment, and visualization to attain the desired goal/outcome. Visualization invokes our senses of imagination and the possibility of where to go with the passion. One has to lucidly dream and direct plans, and outcomes of the business. The emotions you feel and the experiences you get prior achievement of the desire goal adds value to your commitment.

I remember when I was studying for A' Level examinations I committed myself to studying hard. I could spend the whole day without taking food, and without feeling hungry. In my mind I visualized my future at university rubbing shoulders with some finest brains of the country. I would see myself in my own study room, with a laptop, fridge, and telephone. These visions encouraged me to commit myself to studying hard. At the end I got distinctions in all my subjects and got enrolled at the University of my choice.

My dedication to my study meant forfeiting old irrelevant habits and beliefs of work. I had to commit myself spend more time on my studies. I had to forgo some pleasures I used to enjoy because I saw them as hindrances to my study. It was painful but I had to take this choice.

This happens to all of us when you dedicate and commit yourself to a new role. You forfeit some irrelevant habits or should I say you have to throw away irrelevant old software and replace it with new software. A lot of criticism may be launched from blind corners, don't look back, stay focused and move on. In our African culture they say a mother does not stop killing a chicken for meat when it cries. She simply goes ahead in killing it because she needs to feed the children. The same thing applies to us on adversity. Don't stop chasing you passion because some people are not comfortable with you dream.

In business perseverance is the ability to remain steadfast, and unwavering to the purpose in order to achieve the outcome desired. The time you spent fighting to achieve and pursue the objectives of you passion at WA hinge on you perseverance. You will need to consistently pursue you hobby despite setbacks/adversity. In you road to success you are going to fall many times but don't lose focus move on persevere, pursue you dream.

Determination: comes with the spirit to persevere to get the job done no matter what. It is the spirit to pursue you dream till you achieve you desired goals. In WA are given and taught everything to succeed, lets have the spirit of determination to achieve our goals.

Focus is the ability to endure the task at hand till the final goal achievement, the ability to offer maximum concentration successfully on a task. Let's not get diverted by challenges met instead lets enjoy the challenges as the stepping stones to move forward focused.

I challenge you good people to stay focused, committed, dedicated, determined, and to persevere as we pursue our goals in our different niches.

Remember to reach the top of a mountain you go around and round it gradually many times until you reach the top. To eat an elephant you eat small bites by bites until the whole body is consumed. The small steps we take now at WA will certainly take us to the pinnacle of our success.
