Do ambitions REALLY inspire action?

I was reading about on Quora on an answer of the question to "What should men know by age 22?" of all things, and found this piece of good advice that pretty much applies to anyone here;

"3) Your thought patterns are more important than your ambitions

-If my dream in life is to become the next Jimi Hendrix, but I wake up every morning thinking about funny memes isntead of picking up the guitar, I'll never reach my goal. Your thought patterns have to serve your ambitions if you want them to come to fruition. If you only dream about the goal and not the steps leading to it, then you're wasting time."

I mean, how many goals have we dreamed of - only to keep putting it off instead? Too many times.

In a nutshell, ambitions do not inspire action in itself. It's where your mindset is. Try not to chase the money too hard and think of the process. Keep it bite-sized to not overwhelm yourself.

Then ask successful people here on how you can improve your site, once you reach a level of adequate content. Don't ask me on it though, I'm not that level lol.
