Lipstick Affair my first post on my fashion blog
I love fashion, maybe not as much as I show
it , but I love fashion. In fact, I even have clothes I have never worn thanks to wearing my university uniform four days a week, but again, I love clothes.
Nothing vain really, my first encounter with my love for fashion was when I was about 7 years old and my mother had a whole case of lipstick. From the pink rose shade to the chocolate brown to rouge. It was the school holidays and being my momma’s baby, I always spent my day either in her room or in my room, but since there was a TV in her room and the dressing table, I spent most of my hours in there. I found the lipstick range and my lipstick love affair began.People overlook the power of fashion. That outfit that can help you feel confident and be confident. That outfit that helps you get through the funeral service. That hairstyle that helps you hold your head up high and makes you look forward to your morning when you have to get ready. It’s more than fashion. It has a life element to it, and to me, that’s a n overdose. Fashion has given me more than just a physical outlook, but it has given me the chance to encourage women to put effort into their confidence, to express themselves, and be ” mad happy” as I call it. That’s an overdose all from fashion.
That’s how I came up with fashion overdose. Apart from sharing my experiences, I will redirect you to some super awsome (and affordable) fashion buys online just to add that extra dose to your daily life. I chose lipstick because child, you will not come across me on any given day without lip colour on. No matter how bad the day is ,my fashion spirit is lipstick and just like that, here we are!
