It is what it is. There is no other way to say it. It doesn't matter what we are talking about. I don't care how much you try to cover it up, deny it, or even if you own it, IT IS WHAT IT IS AND NOTHING MORE OR LESS! I have coping mechanisms that are both good and bad, healthy and not. The cold hard truth is that I have no clue what I am doing. Yep. I mad lib it just like everyone one else. There is a manual. The Bible for some, other books for others, and other objects, ideas, etc... for the remaining population. That is not the focus of this. The point is that the focus is here and now and what we need to do to be able to make it through the day. Yes, we can plan for the future all we want, but the fact is that EVERYTHING can change in the blink of an eye. There is no prevention or planning. If we were able to plan everything and follow through the way we plan, there would be no accidents, ever. And then, just like that, I had to save where I was and take care of something and now I have completely lost the point that I had set out to make. I'm sure it will occur to me again at some inopportune time like while I'm in the bath, ad then by the time I am done with that, 87 different things could have happened, and poof- there it goes again. Such is life. Tell me why it is that things so opportune and impeccable happen?? Victim of circumstances. Have you ever really thought abut that term? I have. I am betting I am not alone. There are those who have been the victim and then there are those who have known the victim, whether you admit it or realize it or not. I say that because if someone has known a victim of circumstances, there are 2 possibilities. Either they have been present and witnessed some nonsense, or they have had the unfortunate experience of constantly having to overlook stupid things, some minor and some REALLY HUGE! And if you are the latter, and you struggle with confidence and self-esteem, you cannot afford to subject yourself to the events that are going on. I'm here speaking from experience. You will both go crazy. And I am not throwing that term around liberally, either. I am talking suicidal, life is not wort living, depression, anxiety and a list of other issues that we will cover at one point or another throughout this journey, as this is the substance of my life. I am here to tell you, sometimes love is not enough, and sometimes you are not going to get the answers that you think you will die without. Yes, it sucks, but sometimes, there is not closure. Many hundreds of different scenarios can present to you and leave you completely- um for lack of a better term, screwed up at the outcome of it and for what? We have always heard that everything happens for a reason, which I am positive is accurate, but what is left out of that cliche is that we don't always get to know what that reason is. And now, you have to play it where it has landed. There is nothing that anyone in this world can say or do to change what happened in the past. You must learn from it and pick yourself up and keep moving. Forgive, and move on. If you choose to dwell, you become bitter and you miss out on so many things because you are afraid that "that" will happen again. Hopefully not, however, if it does, you know that you can survive it. Right? Things to think about in dire times or times of desperation. Yes- it could be horrible. But if you are alive, it could be worse. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. If you give up, you lose. PERIOD. END OF STORY.
