Taking a Break from Wealthy Affiliate
To my esteemed WA family! As it hurts me to impart a not-so-cheerful message to all of you today, I would like you all to know how grateful I am for the experience. Joining WA almost two years ago in August, with no idea what to expect, and knew very little about computers and its technology, but with the patience and support of Kyle & Carson, as well as the entire staff of WA, I surprised myself by now owning 3 websites and generating a little income from them. Just to show that the system works ~ we just need to work hard and believe in the dream. I surprised my family and friends when I told them I built the websites myself.
Hopeful for 2024
I was very excited for 2024, as I saw things unfold before me. I was enraptured by the immediate results of my travel blog website, thrilled by the ability to book flights, hotels, cruises, and car rentals directly from my website. My MMO website is picking up traffic as well. I even got 3 direct inquiries from Africa on this one. My baby website however, after the fall out from Amazon, is on a standstill. Until this time it’s hard to reconcile the facts that my Amazon sales through my website won’t get commission just because my co-workers from my workplace wants to support my website, thus use it to purchase gifts for baby showers. Similarly, a friend of a friend built her nursery, purchased most of the baby stuff from baby furnitures, beddings, baby stroller to diapers, nursery bottles, portable breast pumps from UK and I did not get any commission. I still believe that a sale is a sale is a sale!~ From which Amazon does not agree.
Life’s twists and turns
As I thought I was beginning to experience promising developments in my websites, I was confronted with the reality that my genetics caught up in me. I have family history of cancer from both maternal and paternal sides, and now is manifesting in me. I will spare you the details of what I am going through at the moment. And because of this, I am taking a break from WA for now and put my health on my top priority.
I am still keeping my WA membership, just won't be doing much as I normally do.
I appreciate your love, support and prayers.
I wanted to let you all know that I am taking a temporary break from Wealthy Affiliate to focus on my health situation. Seeing all of you continuously working on your dreams has been such an inspiration, and your support has has been invaluable. I shall miss connecting with everyone. Please take care of each other.

About your amazon issues... I had the same experience with amazon a few years ago. They are brutal about limiting affiliate payouts . The have no problem with the extra traffic and sales though.

I hope that you read this, sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis.
May I make a suggestion, remove all sugar from your diet, that means no chocolate, biscuits, cakes, sugary drinks, alcohol and definitely NO WHITE SUGAR.
Sugar in the body = inflammation where bacteria feeds off the sugar.
No sugar = no inflammation = no bacteria in the body.
I hope you put my suggestion into practice, I gave this advice to a dear neighbour that had cancer and was receiving chemotherapy, I told him to stop the chemotherapy and do intermittent fasting, one meal a day and remove all of the above.
He has now recovered from cancer
Infact, everybody should remove white sugar from their diet and take honey in your tea and coffee instead.

Its true, listen to advice from other people no matter who they are, their message has some meaning and there is a reason why they are giving you some advice because advice normally comes from some kind of experience.

What will strengthen your immune system is to remove sugar and drink water
Also, alcohol deforms red blood cells which cause's shortness of breath, this is something that I am experimenting with at the moment.
As for fasting in my experience, I realised that I was eating out of routine, I had a cough for two weeks, then I decided not to eat anything that contained sugar and ate only one meal a day for two days and then on day three my cough disappeared without any medication.
That was five years ago, before I understood about food and nutrition.
I test everything before I give advice.

Brian, I have taken your comments very seriously. My new regime starts now. I never used white sugar, but brown, yes. I must find out more on Immunotherapy. That word keeps coming up.

I have had that battle too and came out the other side. I had bowel cancer and they cut it out. Not easy, I actually died on the operating table and spoke with my long departed grandad who told me to go back, my learning was not complete.
Sooo.. I’m still here figuring shite out. I pray your journey is sweeter than mine.
I know you are a fighter or you would not be here.
One piece of advice, the greeen herb is a big help in restoring white blood cells. People before profit my wonderful friend.

An inspiring story Steve. I had pneumonia 18 months ago, critically ill etc.etc. expected to die soon.
People find it hard to believe that I sat there in the middle of the night and spoke to the spirit elders. They gave me a choice, so I came back.
I know you will understand this.

Hey Maria, please take good care of yourself. If you are making enough income from your websites to sustain you, then let it idle for a while. However, if you may need extra income... try to at least put a little effort into your blogs and write a few articles per month. When you are back, I would like to give you some valuable info to expand your businesses to be a lot more successful. Lemme know when you're back in action. Please get all the necessary treatments, to maximize your chances to live a longer and healthier life. My mother gave up on her treatments and you can imagine the consequences.
