I usually purchase domains via namecheap..why is it important to purchase domain via sitedomain in Wealthy Affiliate ? What are the pros and cons ? I am just trying to figure o

Look at it this way.....Check out benefits with namecheap vs. WA
With WA I find at the Wordpress is awesome plus the sitecontents, sitefeedback, and sitecomments are fantastic tools to have. THIS IS A MUST DO! I believe you will enjoy everything about it.

I actually have domains registered here as well as ones registered elsewhere and simply pointed to WA's name servers. You can go either way.

Try building a site with a free domain, publish a few pieces of content, try out the sitecomments and sitefeedback features, and you'll see the differences. In other hosts, you'd have to patch the services together and each would cost. Then, when you look at the amount of storage and bandwidth you get on the cloud, it's likely you'd be paying quite a premium for that alone (typically much higher than their basic shared packages). Do a little more digging and you'll see the differences.

It's preference MStaggs. You don't have to, but hosting with Wealthy Affiliate has it's perks. My favorite features of the Wealthy Affiliate hosting is the Sitecontent feature, Sitecomments, and Sitefeedback. At other hosts, when you create a wordpress website, it's a few extra steps to install wordpress and you use C-Panel. At WA, they have a custom control panel that's very nice to track your site health. They also have one login where you can publish content to all of your sites. Sitecontent also tracks your writing goals and autoaves as you're typing. Ive been able to restore earlier versions of my posts several times, whereas, I would have been at a loss simply publishing in Wordpress. Added to that, these are the specs of the hosting. I can guarantee it will be a more cost-effective option than Namecheap when you consider you're getting Sitecontent, Sitecomments, Sitefeedback, lots of storage, lots of bandwidth, fast support (is a major competitive advantage versus most hosting companies), live training, and a social media-style networking community. When you combine the whole premium package of Wealthy Affiliate hosting, it's not comparable with others on the market (Namecheap included and I'm a Namecheap affiliate....Haha).

Thanks or your feedback..I think I'll go ahead and purchase my domains through Wealhy Affiliate..

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
