not necessarily. depends on the term. at what stage through the buyers cycle they are and what products it could relate to

I was wondering how are the strategies to actually get trafic on a site beside seo?
There's several. Pay per click advertising with Google, Bing, and other websites as well. There's social media marketing. And then good old guerrilla marketing. Tshirts, talking to people, business cards, bulletins. Lots of ways. I do those for local businesses now.
