Do You Want to Make Money Or Do You Want to Build A Business!

Like most of you when I first started my internet marketing business, I wanted to make as much money as I could, as fast as I could.  I wasn't worried about the future or what it might bring

So, I started promoting virtually every Affiliate program out there.  Sending all of the traffic I was bringing in to other peoples web sites for them to sell.   And I was making money.  Not getting rich, but bringing in some pretty decent income.

The problem with this was, every morning I had to start from scratch.  I was totally dependent on generating enough traffic to those affiliate websites to make the amount of money I was looking to bring in.

Do you see the problem with that ?   I was sending all of that traffic off to other peoples websites without  capturing any information (ie email address and name).  I was doing most of the hard work, yet only benefiting a little

Now when I look back I realize how foolish I was.  Had I been building my business (re lists) as well as making the money at the same time I would have been able to not only increase the amount of money I was making, I would have much more control over my business, as well as have an actual, tangible asset which has value and can actually be sold if I wanted to do so.

Plan Ahead - take more control of your income and at the same time build a business   Take the time to build your business not just make money!
