Note to Self: TOP TEN REMINDERS for SUCCESS
1. Equipping yourself with the right business tools and business knowledge is the basic step in starting your business. It will help you get your schedules and tasks organized and will keep you on track. (Since I have already been practicing this at work, I just need to re-organize my schedules to manage my time properly.)
2. Time and Effort are your greatest investment in growing your business. Time and effort invested will determine the amount of future success.
3. Having the right attitude and mindset to not only achieve personal growth but also to lend a hand when needed are beneficial for your business success. Be proactive in the community, share your knowledge and skills to help build the team's success. Their success is also yours. A great leader is also a good follower.
4. Being resourceful is one great quality to practice as it helps you build confidence to overcome challenges.
5. Another great quality to develop is to be a good listener as it will help you avoid the mistakes your mentors had in the past. Learning from others' experience can help you be more efficient in handling your business.
6. Avoid making assumptions, as it may only get you nowhere. Ask when needed.
7. Take note of your greatest WHY to inspire you to work harder every day.
8. Document your journey as it will be a great testimony for others someday.
9. Prepare yourself for greater responsibilities some day. As you grow your business you will encounter many people from different walks of life. Prepare yourself to be an inspiration for others' success.
10. Remember that your time and effort will determine your success. So be consistent in achieving growth, no matter how slow, no matter how small, no matter how long the journey will be - always look forward to achieve growth.
Continue being a lifelong learner. This is your own timeline, consider to learn something new each day. Only YOU can determine the amount of success you gain in the end.
On a more personal note:
Most of all, put GOD first in everything you do. Consult God in prayer to guide you in every decision you will make.
Admire others' success but do not idolize people. People will fail you. People will disappoint you. God won't.
Do not compare your journey as comparison is a thief of joy.
Always look up to God for guidance. Others' success is their own unique journey, yours will come in God's perfect time.
Gratitude is the best attitude to have. No matter where your journey takes you, stay grateful and grounded.
