I picked up a .biz. I'll do some research, if I'll have issues getting ranked, I'll register a different one and I'm out less than a dollar. No sweat. ;)

Nice! but .us is not good at google ranking and is not covered with whoisguard(domain privacy ).
I would buy either of them personally, but appreciate your sharing this.
I highly, and so do the lessons at WA, to go for .com and .org if not the com available.
