Monthly or yearly billing?
Hello everyone. I hope things are going to plan for you all. I've been very quiet in recent months, but life can be complicated at times and sometimes we have to muddle through as best we can!
Anyhoo, I'm still here and I just thought I'd update you on my billing m'larkey. I posted a question a couple of weeks ago: How do I change from annual to monthly billing? and some of you were able to point me in the right direction, thanks.
Obviously paying yearly is the way to go if at all possible, because the savings are huge. But unfortunately I couldn't afford another yearly membership at the moment, so what was the best thing to do?
As some of you suggested, the answer is indeed to cancel any existing annual membership completely some time just before it's due to expire, I just did mine a moment ago and it had 7 days left.
Go to Account settings > Membership > Manage > Stop Billing and Close Account.
Please read EVERYTHING Carson says.
If you wish to continue the cancellation process, at the bottom of the page you can click on the red button: 'Click here if you are sure that you want to cancel your membership'
You are immediately given the opportunity to re subscribe on a monthly or yearly basis. If you choose to re subscribe monthly, as I did, any days you have left from your just cancelled annual membership are taken into account. You can upgrade back to annual membership at any time of course.
It's very easy and your profile, settings etc remain intact.
So, I'm still here! :)

I only ever have paid monthly,as you say it is ok if you have a little overflow and can easily pay yearly.I am by no means there yet,I have a long long way to go.
Also check your Paypal account for automatic renewal, otherwise a possible huge amount can go off it again, even if you were no longer planning on continuing. I have a phobia for these "automatic payments!" What if one forgot, was sick, died? They would continue taking it off for years! In my day one was at least reminded and given the option first!
